Academic Quality with Relevance:
Menaul School's academic programs prepare students for lifetimes of service, leadership and success. Small classes and an environment which embraces academic freedom, give students direct access to outstanding faculty members. Menaul provides a solid academic curriculum rooted in the liberal arts, which is best suited to changing environments. Support systems from tutoring programs to libraries to computer-based learning help our students make the most of their educational experience and prepare them to compete at a college level. The scope and depth of Menaul School's integrated curriculum is such that students who successfully navigate it are sufficiently prepared for post-secondary education. In the spirit of embracing a pragmatic view of education, the Menaul School curriculum is grounded in the belief that all course offerings will be properly sequenced and advance the following concepts:

Spiritual Development with Roots:
Menaul School is rooted in the Presbyterian Church's historic mission to educate for a vital church, responsible citizenship and serving the public good. We carry the torch which continues to illuminate John Calvin's and John Knox's conviction that education should be an integral part of the church's mission. To this end, Menaul School provides opportunities for probing religious questions, studying of scripture, worship, and community service. All of this is done in the spirit of advancing the principles of faithful living as promulgated by and through Jesus Christ.
Diversity with Purpose:
Menaul School believes that a diverse student body creates an environment that challenges minds and broadens horizons. Although open to all, Menaul School's mission focus is to serve a population of learners who represent the faces of New Mexico. This mission has become a sacred trust for the school and driven our investment in young people who are challenged to become the types of leaders who, through words and deeds, serve humankind.
Student-Centered with Community Commitment:
Menaul School, through attention in and beyond the classroom by dedicated scholar-teachers, creates a personal educational experience that nurtures the whole student. By educating the whole person, Menaul School prepares its graduates to tackle life's deeper questions. From the stage, to the laboratory, to the athletic field, to the chapel, Menaul School dedicates itself to provide each student with an opportunity to excel, lead and grow. At the same time, the school demands that students be centered on the internal as well as the external community. Menaul School's service-learning, volunteerism, and work programs are designed to bridge the community and classroom and incorporate the heart, soul and mind in the educational process.
